Welcome to our platform! We’re delighted that you’ve chosen us to find a loving caregiver for your beloved pet. Our goal is to ensure you fully understand the booking process, so we’ll guide you through each step.
If you’ve landed on this page, we assume you’ve already registered and created a profile for your pet. If not, you can start this process anytime from our website’s homepage or via the app. The more information you provide about your pet, the better we can tailor the search results to your needs.
If you’ve already created an account and filled out your pet’s profile, here’s how to book the care you need:
Our booking system is designed to be straightforward. You’ll be asked for the dates you need care and the type of service you require. Choose from: overnight dog care, daytime dog care, house sitting, feeding and play visits, or dog walking.
Based on the details and location you provided, the search will begin. You’ll see various sitter profiles as previews. If a profile interests you, click on it to get more information about the sitter’s experience and availability. Select the caregiver who best fits your pet’s needs.
Note: You can contact multiple sitters.
To communicate with a sitter, click the “Contact {Name}” button. You’ll then have the option to review and modify your booking details. Click “Send Booking Request” to send your request with your pet’s information to the sitter. Don’t worry, this request is non-binding. We recommend contacting several sitters to have options in case your preferred sitter is unavailable.
The non-binding request allows you to chat with the sitter and schedule a Meet & Greet. Meeting the sitter in person is important to ensure that the chemistry between your pet and the sitter is right.
A sitter may accept your request before the Meet & Greet, in which case you’ll be asked to make a payment. No stress! You can wait to pay until after the Meet & Greet. Your payment confirms the booking. If the Meet & Greet goes well and the sitter hasn’t confirmed the request yet, it’s best to remind them. Booking confirmation is required to protect your booking and allow you to leave a review.
Note: The sitter must accept the request in the chat for you to proceed with payment.
We currently offer payment methods including Sofort, bank transfer, and PayPal. If you encounter any issues with payment, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Typically, the sitter will keep you updated on your pet. Let your sitter know how frequently you’d like photo or video updates to ensure you feel comfortable.
After the care period, you have the opportunity to leave a review for the caregiver on the Petbnb platform. We’d greatly appreciate this as it helps other pet owners make informed decisions.
