How Payment Works

Important Points About the Payment Process:

1. Automated Process: The payment request will be automatically sent to you once the sitter accepts the booking request in the chat. It’s possible that the sitter may accept the request before a personal Meet & Greet has taken place. Don’t worry; even if you receive an automated payment notification, you can take your time to get to know the sitter better. If everything seems suitable, you can proceed with the payment. If you decide against the booking, you can simply ignore the payment request.
   
   

2. Payment Confirms the Booking: While the booking request is non-binding, the booking is only confirmed once the payment is made. If you want to cancel the booking after payment, the refund terms will depend on the sitter’s cancellation policy. Personal arrangements regarding refunds can also be considered. 3. Cash Payments and Account Deactivation: As an online platform, we only support online payments processed through our platform. If there is any suspicion that a payment was arranged outside of our platform, it will unfortunately lead to the deactivation of accounts for both parties involved.
   
   

4. Fees: For facilitating the booking, we charge a small fee of €0.99 at checkout. Please note that PayPal may impose additional fees that can affect the total price. A detailed price breakdown, including additional fees, will always be displayed. There are no hidden costs.
